1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using rubik.page (“the Site”), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please discontinue use of the Site.
2. Description of Service
rubik.page provides a free, browser-based utility and educational resource for solving and learning the 3×3×3 cube puzzle, including:
- Optional camera-based sticker color recognition and manual 2D net color entry.
- Automated 3D orientation validation, Kociemba two-phase solution calculation, and interactive 7-stage beginner training.
- Educational tutorials, move notation references, algorithm cheat sheets, and physical cube diagnostic guides.
We reserve the right to modify, update, or temporarily suspend any feature of the Site for maintenance or improvement without prior notice.
3. Acceptable Use and Connection Limits
To keep the solver fast and responsive for all visitors, you agree not to:
- Flood the WebSocket scanner endpoint (
/ws) or analytics endpoint (/api/usage) with automated denial-of-service traffic, synthetic stress payloads, or non-cube media streams. - Attempt to bypass rate limits, connection guards, or security headers implemented on the Site or its Cloudflare infrastructure.
- Scrape, republish, or mirror the Site's interactive application or original SVG diagrams as a competing commercial service without written permission.
4. Physical Cube Handling and Repair Disclaimer
When your cube is in an unsolvable mechanical state (such as a twisted corner, flipped edge, or swapped pieces), the Site's repair mode and Unsolvable Cube Guide explain how to align a layer at 45° and twist or re-seat a physical piece by hand. Different cube models vary in plastic flexibility, core tension, and internal mechanism. Any physical manipulation, corner twisting, or disassembly of your puzzle is performed entirely at your own risk. rubik.page is not responsible for broken plastic tabs, popped mechanisms, or damaged puzzles.
5. Intellectual Property and Trademark Notice
The original source code, 3D WebGL visualizations, custom SVG cube diagrams, and written tutorial text on rubik.page are protected by copyright. You may print or share links to our guides and cheat sheets for personal, classroom, or non-commercial educational use with attribution to rubik.page.

Your use of camera scanning, functional progress cookies, and third-party advertising services (such as Google AdSense) is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms of Use by reference.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability
The Site and all solutions, tutorials, and diagnostics are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. While we strive for high accuracy in camera color recognition across diverse lighting conditions, lighting glare or camera hardware limitations may occasionally require manual color verification.
